Frequently Asked Questions

How long will it take to create my artwork?

Depending upon the complexity of your artwork I like to allow between 1 and 4 weeks to create it. I will be in touch regarding the start date of your piece and update you throughout the process.

Just to add that all work created is copyrighted byJobo with all rights reserved. As the artist I retain all copyrights to the original images, the copyright is not transferable with sale.

How do I care for my portrait?

It's best to keep all portraits out of direct sunlight to prevent the risk of fading.

Textile portraits enjoy a light vacuum occaisionally using an upholstery nozzle (soft brush) to prevent a build-up of dust.

Payment

Payment can be made via bank transfer or PayPal at the time of ordering your portrait.

Please note that once your commission has been agreed and paid for it cannot be refunded.

payment can be made in installments-50% deposit to secure your commission slot and the remaining 50% upon completion and prior to shipment

Shipping

Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

I ship within the UK via Royal Mail Tracked 24 or Special Delivery according to the compensation cover required.

Delivery delays can occasionally occur due to circumstances beyond my control.

Collection can also be arranged by appointment from my workshop.

 

International Shipping

I ship to select international destinations, but due to new government regulations as of December 2024 I will no longer be shipping to the EU or NI. Please note that shipping rates and delivery times may vary based on location. Please contact me for a specific request.

Customs, duties, and taxes applied to your order are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the shipping fee.

 

Order Tracking

Once your order has been shipped, I will provide you with your tracking number to track your package's progress.

 

Packaging

Portraits are carefully packaged to ensure they arrive safely. Each item is wrapped in protective sustainable and recyclable material and boxed securely to minimise the risk of damage during transit.

Privacy policy

ByJobo's privacy policy is very simple, straightforward and human/pet readable and friendly.

I will not ever, under any circumstance, give out or sell your information (including your name and address) to anyone.

Also no one outside my organisation will ever have access to your data. The only exception to this if I am required to do so by a court of law.
