As I reflected on what I seek from creating these portraits, I began wondering—what do you, as someone commissioning a patchwork pet portrait, truly need from them?

It struck me that there’s something profound about being able to physically interact with a piece of art—especially if it’s a memorial of a beloved pet or a tribute to your cherished fur companion you can’t always be near as often as you’d like.

With this realization, I decided to infuse my portraits with something extra: a tactile, 3D element to provide sensory comfort. These pieces invite you to pause, connect, and reflect as you engage with your artwork.

So, without further ado... Allow me to introduce interactive features like stuffing, whiskers, eyebrows, and poseable ears! These additions make the portraits truly come alive, giving you a unique way to connect with them.

Using a wooden canvas also opens up new possibilities for me as an artist, letting me incorporate painting and creating an immersive experience for us both!
